I have learned more from the addicts who have stolen from me than from reading the big blue book of AA. Why? Examples of what I do not want to become, thank God addicts in addiction are a boring frustrating lot.

I do not believe in calling myself an addict unless I am using. End of story. I do not need a title or an excuse to use. I believe calling oneself an addict leaves one open to use.

Rehabs are for the loved ones, so they can sleep and get some rest. It would be advantageous for the loved ones to attend the same length of time as an addict, then maybe when reentering the world a deeper commitment is possible in this impossible world. It is worth a try.

Change is needed for sobriety; location, friends, sun, exercise, building one's esteem, living with or calling a another in recovery 24 hrs a day.

I need to learn not to react, but to respond to life's calls.

God is infinite. Prayers are for people who do not feel they are a part of or God is not within them. Gods are a much better way to go why all this lord Jesus God Spirit, why not Zeus Venus Terpsichore, etc. no difference.
